For example, the study of proteoglycan synthesis showed that All Fiber Booster Chinese Hibiscus at a concentration of 0.5 % increased the rate of perimembrane proteoglycans by 16 %, the rate of transmembrane proteoglycans by 19 % and the rate of matrix proteoglycans by 21 %. Also, the elastin synthesis study showed that All Fiber Booster Chinese Hibiscus at a concentration of 0.5% increased the elastin rate by 19%. And the collagen synthesis study showed that All Fiber Booster Chinese Hibiscus increased the collagen rate by 18 % at a concentration of 0.5 %.
 
But this effect of All Fiber Booster Chinese Hibiscus is not all. In another study, the effect on cell renewal of the epidermis was investigated, especially the proliferation and differentiation of epidermal cells. In this study, reconstructed epidermis was used and two key markers were examined: KI67, a protein that marks cell proliferation, and filaggrin, a protein that marks cell differentiation. The results show that All Fiber Booster Chinese Hibiscus at concentrations of 0.5%, 1% and 2.5% significantly stimulates keratinocyte proliferation in the basal layer and decreases cell differentiation, as evidenced by less intense but consistent labelling of filaggrin in the granular layer.
