 JuniCell is an innovative extract derived from the plant stem cells of the common juniper (Juniperus communis) and was developed as a sustainable solution for modern skincare. Since junipers are increasingly affected by overharvesting in their natural habitat, the use of cultured stem cells helps protect natural populations. The stem cell lines used for JuniCell are derived from young spring shoots, which are particularly rich in bioactive compounds such as catechins, gallocatechins, and procyanidins.

In vitro studies have shown that JuniCell increases the expression of collagen I in dermal fibroblasts by a remarkable 116% even at a concentration of just 1.0%. In addition to this structure-strengthening effect, the extract offers comprehensive protection against oxidative stress; it significantly reduces reactive oxygen species (ROS) induced by UV light or peroxides in keratinocytes. These diverse in vitro results are clearly reflected in clinical studies: After 56 days of use, skin firmness improved by 14% and elasticity by 13%, while the volume of skin roughness and wrinkles decreased by 21%.
In addition, a 25% reduction in melanin content was observed, making JuniCell an ideal ingredient for brightening products.
